These User Agreement Policy (“User Agreement”) are a binding legal agreement between you and Circledin that govern your use of the websites, applications, and other offerings from Circledin (collectively, the “Circledin Platform”).

Thank you for choosing Circledin as your trusted sharing platform. In this User Agreement, you’ll find important information about your wireless service including:

  • Our ability to make changes to your Service or this Agreement’s terms.
  • Our liability if things don’t work as planned and how disputes between us must be resolved in arbitration or small claims court.

Member Terms

  1. Our Mission

    Our mission is to put money back into your pockets so that you’re not overpaying for a service again. Browse through all our Circles to find the right plan for you. Learn more about a Circle by clicking through plan details and reviewing what each plan offers. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Circledin support and a Customer Success Representative will be happy to assist.

  2. Finding the Right Circle for you and Reserving a Slot

    1. Finding the Right Circle

      You can search for Circles by using criteria like the carriers’ name, plan category, plan type, and Account Member verification status. You can also use filters to refine your search results. Search results are based on their relevance to your search and other criteria. Relevance considers factors like price, number of slots available, cancellation history, popularity, and more.

    2. Reserving a Slot

      When you reserve a slot, you are agreeing to pay all charges for your plan selection including the mobile plan cost, prorated mobile plan costs, monthly recurring subscription fee, any incurred costs, and any activation fees or taxes associated with the carriers such as but not limited to Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T. When you receive confirmation that an Account Owner has approved you to join their plan, a contract for Account Owner Services is formed directly between you and the Account Owner. The cancellation policy and any other rules, standards, policies, or requirements identified in the plan detail or during checkout form part of your contract with the Account Owner.

  3. My Service

    Your Service terms and conditions are part of this Agreement. Your Plan on Circledin is on a month-to-month basis based on the billing cycle of the respective Circle you have joined. You are responsible for all charges you have incurred in your Service, such as but are not limited to international service plans or equipment protection services. Together, your Plan, features you use and any Optional Services you select are your Service. Your billing and shipping addresses, and your primary place of use, must be within the areas served by the network but are not limited to Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T owns and operates. We update your billing address on the Account profile you have joined, and Account Owners will see your billing address, name, and number associated with the line. Additionally, Account Owners will be able to see data usage & call logs. The current version of this Agreement and the terms and conditions for your Service are available online at joincircledin.com .

    By using the Service, you are agreeing to every provision of this Agreement whether or not you have read it. This agreement also applies to all lines on your account and anyone who uses your Service.

  4. Cancellations, Refunds, Switching Circles

    1. Cancellations

      You can cancel a line of Service, but you'll still have to pay for your Service through the end of your billing cycle. Once a SIM has been shipped out, you are locked into the first billing cycle. These charges may include activation fees from the carriers, prorated charges, as well as the first full cycle of Service, and any additional charges and fees that you have incurred on your line, such as but not limited to international calls, out-of-plan calls, etc. You are also agreeing that Circledin may place a hold on your account in the event that a bill has not been generated and you decide to leave or port out your number.     2. Refunds

      If for any reason you are unsatisfied with our Services, we will refund you 100% of the subscription cost for the month. We do not issue any refunds for any phone bill charges incurred by the member. The member is responsible for all charges including but not limited to their regular Service charges and add-ons associated with their line until the end of their billing period.

    3. Switching Circles

      Members and Account Owners are responsible for any changes or modifications to their plan they agree to make via the Circledin Platform or direct Circledin customer service to make on their behalf, and agree to pay any additional amounts, fees, or taxes associated with any Circle Switch.

  5. My Privacy

    Accepting this Agreement means that you also agree to our Privacy Policy, available at https://joincircledin.com/privacy-policy, which may be updated from time to time. Third party services and applications that you may use on your device are your responsibility - you should review the applicable terms and privacy policy before you use, link to or download a service or application provided by a third party.

    You agree that Circledin and other independent third parties that may work on our behalf may contact you about your account, current charges, and past due charges using any contact number or email address that you have provided. Circledin will treat any email address you provide as your private email that is only accessible by you; you acknowledge that we may send you invoices, receipts, notices and other documents regarding your service to this email address.

  6. Your Responsibilities and Assumption of Risk

    1. Your Responsibilities

      You are responsible and liable for your own acts and omissions and are also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone you invite to join or provide access to any Service or other Account Owner Service. For example, this means: (i) you are responsible for not making any changes to the Account Owner’s plan, and (ii) you must act with integrity, treat others with respect, and comply with applicable laws at all times. If you are reserving a slot and opening a line for an additional member who is a minor, you must be legally authorized to act on behalf of the minor and you are solely responsible for the supervision of that minor and their actions.

    2. Your Assumption of RIsk

      You acknowledge there may be cases that carry inherent risks and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you assume the entire risk arising out of your access to and use of the Circledin Platform, including use of any other Account Owner Service, or any other interaction you have with other Members whether in person or online. This means it is your responsibility to investigate an Account Owner Service and Circle to determine whether it is suitable for you. For example, in rare instances the Account Owners may carry the risk of potentially losing your number or refusal to pay their monthly bill which would require transferring your Circle, you freely and willfully assume those risks by choosing to participate in those Account Owner Services.

Account Owner Terms

  1. Posting your Family Plan/Circle on Circledin

    1. Account Owner

      As an Account Owner, Circledin offers you the opportunity to share your Family Plan, or other Account Owner Services with our members - and receive perks while doing so. It’s simple to post a Circle and you are in control of which members are able to join your account. As an Account Owner, you approve or deny the members in your Circle, assuming full liability of a member joining your Circle.

    2. Contracting with Members

      When you accept a member to join your Circle, you are entering into a contract directly with the Member, and are responsible for delivering your Account Owner Service under the terms and at the price specified in your plan detail listing. You are also agreeing to pay your monthly phone bill cost in full and applicable fees or taxes for each Line. Circledin Payments will deduct amounts you owe from your payout unless we and you agree to a different method. Any terms, policies or conditions that you include in any supplemental contract with Members must: (i) be consistent with these Terms, our Policies, and the information provided in your Circle, and (ii) be prominently disclosed in your Circle description.

  2. Managing your Circle

    1. Creating and Managing your Circle

      The Circledin Platform makes it simple to post and manage your Circle. Your Circle must include complete and accurate information about your Account Owner Services and the features that your plan offers to the members.

    2. Your Responsibilities

      You are responsible for paying for your monthly subscription and phone bill in full each month until you request to leave and agree to perform a transfer of service. This includes signing up for Autopay and having a valid Debit/Credit card linked to your account. Do not encourage members to create an account off of our platform. In order to protect our community and business, the following behaviors are prohibited:

      Taking people off of the Circledin platform for new or future Family plans

      • Contacting potential members prior to reserving a slot on Circledin to move off of the Circledin platform
      • Asking members to call, email, or otherwise contact you via a non-Circledin communications service prior to accepting a member in your Circle
      • Requesting to cancel your Circle and having members book off of Circledin
      • Asking or encouraging guests to join a Family plan outside of Circledin
    3. Circledin Payouts

      Circledin will payout the Account Owner for the remaining lines on their Family Plan/Circle. We will deduct the cost for Services of the Account Owner from this payout value.

    2. Refunds

    3. Transfer of Service and Porting Out

      By requesting to leave your Circle, you agree to transfer your Service to another member in your account, making that member an Account Owner. If you choose to transfer your Service, we will treat it as a cancellation. When you agree to a transfer of service, you agree to notify us at least 45 days in advance. If you decide to port out your number, you will still remain responsible for all fees and charges through the end of that billing cycle, just like any other cancellation. If you choose to just disconnect your line of service, the disconnected Mobile Telephone Number may not be able to be recovered.

General Terms

  1. Billing and Payments

    1. Cicledin Billing

      At Circledin, we typically bill our members on the first to last week of the month. You are responsible for all incurred charges associated with your phone line including but are not limited to international fees, data overages, and out-of-plan charges. Your subscription fee is an automatic recurring monthly charge based on the day you reserve your slot. Failure to pay will result in a complete ban from the CircledIn Community.

    2. Circledin Payments

      In the event that an Account Owner does not pay or their card is declined as they are required to set up for automatic payments, Circledin guarantees that a payment will be made so there are no disruptions to your service. A late fee may apply in the case that an Account Owner or member fails to pay on time.

  2. Rebates and Promotions

    We can apply for rebates or promotions on your behalf, however the Terms and Conditions for that respective promotion and carrier apply. A consent email to accept these offers are sent to you so you are aware of the terms and conditions that apply regarding that specific promotion. You consent to the terms and conditions of the promotions by allowing Circledin to apply for the rebate or promotion on your behalf. Rebates and promotions may come in the form of a gift card or bill credits, which will be automatically applied to your monthly invoice.

  3. Phones and Devices

    Circledin has a bring your own device policy. If your device becomes lost or stolen, please contact Circledin Support so that we can suspend your Line for the time being, until the issue is resolved. Keep in mind that you may be held responsible for any Service charges if you delayed reporting the loss or theft without good reason.

  4. eSIM Activation

    eSIM activation requires the Account Owner’s participation thus activation is dependent on the Account Owner’s availability. If you are interested in activating eSIM, please contact Circledin Support for assistance, and we will notify the Account Owner.

  5. Phone Upgrades, Add-ons, and Features

    1. Phone Upgrades

      Currently, phone upgrades are subject to availability. Please contact Circledin Support to see if phone upgrades are compatible with the Circle you have joined.

    2. Add-Ons, Tablets, Smart Watches

      You can request to purchase additional add-ons or Services by contacting Circledin Support. These add-ons will be billed on your monthly invoice, in addition to your regular Service charges. You are responsible for all costs associated with the add-ons you request to add to your account. You can choose to cancel or disable these add-ons at any time.

    3. Features

      In some cases based on each carrier, Stream Saver is the default setting. You can contact Circledin support to request changing the status of these features.

  6. Perks and Discounts

    Discounts, some circles but not guaranteed, subject to change AARP student, military based on Account Owner

  7. Carrier Taxes

    By using the CIrcledin platform, you agree to pay the respective taxes based on the carrier you choose to join. You must pay all taxes, fees and surcharges set by federal, state and local governments.

  8. Fees and Suspensions

    Failure to pay within one week may result in the account being deactivated, suspension to your line, and potentially losing your number. If you are unable to meet your payment, reach out to Circledin support for assistance, however there is no guarantee we can accommodate your request. There may be fees associated with irregular cancellations or late payments. If for any reason you receive several negative reviews from other Members or contribute to abusing the Circledin platform, your Line will be immediately suspended. If this is the case, please Contact Circledin Support to see if we can resolve the issue and re-activate your Service.

  9. Porting

    You are able to port your number from and to another carrier through the Circledin platform. If you decide to port out your number, you need to notify Circledin Support at least 10 days prior to the end of your billing cycle, and we will treat it as a cancellation. You are responsible for all fees and charges through the end of that billing cycle. If Circledin initiates the port before the end of the billing cycle and the port is not finalized until the next billing cycle, you are still responsible for all fees and charges through the next billing cycle. We will give you the necessary port-out information that will be valid for 48 hours. It is your responsibility to port out your Mobile Telephone Number within that time period, before the end of your billing cycle. After a port is complete, your Mobile Telephone Number may not be recovered on the existing Service.

  10. Circledin Platform Rules

    1. Rules

      As a user of the Circledin Platform, you must abide by the following rules and must not induce others to break these rules.

      1. Act with integrity and respect
        1. Do not misrepresent, pretend to be someone else, encourage or participate in any fraudulent actions
        2. Be polite and respectful while communicating or interacting with anyone on the Platform
        3. Do not discriminate against or harass others
      2. Do not attempt to compromise or threaten the Circledin Platform by means of scraping, hacking, or reverse engineering

        1. Do not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated means to access or collect data or other content from or otherwise interact with the Circledin Platform.
        2. Do not hack, avoid, remove, impair, or otherwise attempt to circumvent any security or technological measure used to protect the Circledin Platform or Content.
        3. Do not decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software or hardware used to provide the Circledin Platform.
        4. Do not take any action that could damage or adversely affect the performance or proper functioning of the Circledin Platform.
      3. Only use the Circledin Platform as authorized by these Terms or another agreement with us
        1. Do not use the Circledin Platform, or Members’ personal information without consent from the Member themselves
        2. Do not use Content such as images or icons unless you have permission from the Content owner or the use is authorized by us in these Terms or another agreement you have with us.
        3. Do not request, make, or accept a booking or any payment outside of the Circledin Platform to avoid paying fees, taxes or for any other reason.
        4. Do not engage in any practices that are intended to manipulate our search algorithm.
        5. Do not initiate Account Owner Services unless you are actually using the Account Owner Services and plan on staying in this Circle.
        6. Do not use, copy, display, mirror or frame the Circledin Platform, any Content, any Circledin branding, or any page layout or design without our consent.
      4. Honor your legal obligations

        1. Understand and follow the laws that apply to you, including privacy and data protection laws
        2. If you provide us with someone else’s personal information, you: (i) must do so in compliance with applicable law, (ii) must be authorized to do so, and (iii) authorize us to process that information under our Privacy Policy.
        3. Read and follow our Terms, Policies and Standards.
        4. Do not use the name, logo, branding, or trademarks of Circledin or others without permission.
        5. Do not use or register any domain name, social media handle, trade name, trademark, branding, logo, or other source identifier that may be confused with Circledin branding.
    2. Copyright Notifications

      If you believe that Content on the Circledin Platform infringes copyrights, please notify us at Circledin Support.

  11. By joining a Circle/Family Plan on the Circledin platform, you agree to the Terms and Conditions and User Agreement documents from the Carriers we have available on our platform. Please keep in mind that these agreements are subject to change at any time.
